When I put in the LR aux. light switch I noticed that it had "access" to the two bulbs on the side of it - green and orange. I was checking out the switch when I had it installed to see that these lights came on when the vehicle lights were turned on and I noticed that all the buttons on the left hand side of my instrument cluster where not illuminated. I realize that a bulb is a bulb and it can burn out, but what would cause all the bulbs on that one side to be out? And can those tiny bulbs be replaced? If they can, where can I get them?

btw: when you wire the LR aux light, it has 5 pins - #1 and #2 can be wired to the same 12v running light tap. #3 is blank. #4 is connected to #86 on the relay. And #5 is grounded to the vehicle - I did it under the drivers side facia panel. Thanks to all those who helped me, wiring the light so that it is illuminated was not hard to do, it is worth it instead of just having an on/off switch. (Pin #1 and #5)

Anyone? Anyone know if you can replace the small bulbs and not the whole switch?

When I had my Disco (D1), I had to replace most of the switch bulbs at one time or another. Clear bulbs of the right size are available at Radio Shack. Just take out the old one, remove it from the holder and match it up. You just need to carefully remove the coloured condom from the old bulb, move it to the new bulb, install the new bulb back in the holder, throw it in the switch and you are off to the races. If its a D2, I'm not sure it is the same so hopefully you will get another response from that angle.
