I have been able to find this valvoline product: http://www.valvoline.com/pages/products/product_detail.asp?product=51 From the internet: Though some companies (e.g. Valvoline) tout it, while others don't, most brake fluids available today *are* synthetic. They are largely glycol based fluids of various formulations (to hit the DOT3 / DOT4 specs, they must perform to different standards.) E.g. The MSDS for Castrol-GT LMA brake fluid lists composition as: "Mixed glycol ethers, glycol ether borate esters, glycol derivatives, alkylamines and alkyl aromatic." Any thoughts? |

I have checked Wally World, Advance, and Auto Zone. Tomorrow I'll check NAPA and Bap Geon. If both of those turn up empty what other brand would you suggest? |

http://www.britishpacific.com has it. I got some a while back. It's on page 23 of their Accessory Catalog. Unless, of course, you need it b4 the weekend.

many have found other brands eat away at the seals Land Rover uses in the vehicles, causing all sorts of problems. Castrol is the brand that plays nice the the Rover rubber. |

Castrol LMA is the modern-day version of the Lucas Girling.... stick w/ it; as said, British stuff doesn't like the others... Advance has it usually; maybe they were out at the time.... NAPA, Advance, PepBoys, they should all have it... not seen it at Auto-Zone or WallyWorld before, though.... IMHO, FWIW.... -L
