Has anyone here have/tried/seen an air jack like these in action? http://www.afil.co.uk/airjack/index.shtml I'm seriously considering one...especially after I nearly killed myself with my Hi-Lift this past weekend (although it was due more to my cockiness than anything). They're powered off your truck's exhaust and aren't too terribly expensive...less than $200. Thoughts?

I don't know that I would work under one, but liftbags are pretty cool. The military uses heavy duty ones for some applications. Check around military surplus and see if you can find any of the HD ones for similar money...

Let us know how it works.

IMHO Exhaust Jacks are a really cool idea. Much safer than a Hi-Lift as long as you're not working under the truck.

However, I've heard from some users in the UK that you need to be careful about placement of the jack. If it rests on a pointy rock or on a sharp bit of metal under the Rover, it's possible to puncture the airbag.

Also, when pulling the filler from the exhaust, be careful, nothing ruins your day like a face full of exhaust fumes. ;-)
