It was obviously treated like a whore. My wife experienced the steerin failing, a failed bushing (?)and was lucky not to wreck. I have put a good amount of money into fixing leaks as well. Will every malady mentioned happen to you? Probably not. But if the vehicle is not well maintained, either while you own it or by the previous owner, you may certainly be at increased risk to experience what was listed. Every car I've owned has suffered from some of the "typical" issues detailed by the enthusiast, or mechanics who frequent sites like discoweb, or in the case of Volvo, brickboard.com. Doesn't mean they are bad vehicles, just prone to certain things - may or may not happen to yours. Gotta take the good with the bad, and it's better to be forewarned - much easier to take preventive measures, or make necessary maintenance before its major. My 2 cents plus. Jack
