Does anyone have (or know where to find) a picture of a dual battery installed in a 95 V8?
Does the coil and/or power steering res. have to be relocated?
Thanks
John

Search the archieves this has been discussed at length with photos.

Theres plenty of posts on where to put the batteries, but heres the problem i have.

when i hooked the two up, the tach doesnt work, the the altentator doesnt charge either battery
i know that you need to change the position of a wire on the altenator somewhere, anybody have any idea which one or how?

You need to energize the isolator, usually with a wire from the positive side of the coil to the E terminal on the isolator. Then the tach will work and the batteries will charge. I had the same issue with my first setup.

John:
As no one has answered the question you asked...

The power steering reservoir bracket can be gently bent to provide greater clearance. The slots on the bracket for the coil are acceptable, but I found if you removed the coil and inverted the bracket, the slots on the opposite side are wider/longer and allow one to move the coil enough to clear the new battery, otherwise, you can elongate the mounting holes to allow the coil to be repositioned.

Good luck,
Paul

Hey John Vigg. I was just looking at the link you posted and saw you have HID lights. Are those "real" or the $14.99 ones you see on eBay? I need a new bulb anyways so am curious about this.
