Central locking problems

About three weeks ago the central locking quit working with either the key in the door or the remote. Then last week I got in and tried to start it and the alarm went off when I turned the ignition to start. I disconnected then reconnected the battery and I was able to start it. You've got an alarm problem from the sound of it. There's not much home repair to be done on this system.
