I am pretty sure it is not cotton eye joe, there is a difference between that song and the one being played. It is similar though.

I couldn't remember the name of the group, that song is a few years old. I believe they were from London.

I have a new hero. He was doing great all the way to till he rolled over. I was watching in amazement and was very impressed that he had no body damage and I have to admit I was feeling a bit unworthy. But the end of the video made me feel better.

Why do you assume it's from South America??? If you noticed the steering is on the RHD...Do you know which countries drive on the wrong side of the road???

The only countries I can remember that have RHD vehicles are the UK, and most of its colonies that have gained independence since 1900 ie South Africa, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, et al. The only one which doesnt't fit that generalisation is Japan.

By the look of the eucalypt trees and general scrubbiness of the foliage, I'd say it was filmed in Australia.

techno doesn't ring a bell when i think australia. i think europe and south/central america and that doesn't look like something they would be doing in europe.

hindsight i can see it being in australia. i have been all over the world john, so i am aware of the driving differences. i thought maybe they worked for the post office :-)

I believe "THat was the Cotton Eye Joe" in a different language. I am a DJ and most musical artists do different language versions for different markets. So maybe that was the sweedish version, or maybe it was the latin version of that song. But it is deffinatly "Cotton Eyed Joe".
