60000 Mile (Service Engine Light)...

When I started the car up this morning the Amber Service Engine Soon light came on, (did not notice anything wrong with engine). Does this light come on when you hit 60,000 miles or is the light related to something else? Also what is the average cost for the 60,000 mile check up and the Land Rover Dealership? I am going to set up an appointment today.   carl J. If it comes on, then the computer has detected a fault code/problem with emissions. Make sure your gas cap is on and it clicked three times. This alone will make the light come on.   carl J. What flushes are done on the D2 for the 60000 mile maintance? I was just curious, (my manuel is in my car at the shop). Is there a web site where I can find the 60000 mile service info?
