I don't know to much about land rovers
what should I look for when buying a used one?

Tyrone,

It depends on alot of things.

1. What do you plan on using the Rover for? (offroad, street use, combination)
2. What model are you looking at?
3. What price range are you looking for?

Land Rovers are complex vehicles that need good routine maintence. When looking for one, try to find one with maintence records or lr used certified. They might be more expensive, but at least you might be ahead of the curve when it comes to repairs and maintence. I dumb lucked into buying a 95 that was maintained really well and has been a good truck without many major issues. But a buddy of mine bought a 97 that looked even cleaner than mine at the time of purchase with even low miles, but it is a big piece of shit. Tons of issues that had to have come from the lack of proper maintence.
