Installed my new Magnacore wires. I can't believe the difference. You were all right. My check engine light went out. I have more power than I ever have before!
I even beat a schoolbus off the line!~

Greg,

Where did you get the Magnacore wires? And what did that set cost you?

You mean you beat a yellow H2 off the line?

They only come from Magnacor and they are like $65 including shipping.

after talking with Nathan at Discount Rovers, he told me to buy direct from Magnecor.

after talking with Magnecor, he told me to contact Rover Connections since they are no longer on special and RC is less expensive.

Magnecor is good stuff. I've used them on two motors; one turbo and the other supercharged. Good quality and HP gains are real (after market ignition). From what I've seen on this board, the results seem to be the the same for the Rover. I will have to look into putting some on my DiscoII.

I got them directly from magnecor. $58.00 including shipping and everything.

I was going through plugs like you wouldn't believe. I would put a new set in and the would be good for about a month, then it would run like crap and the check engine light would come on.

I replaced the stock plugs and put on accel from autozone. It continued to happen, so I figured it was the plugs over and over.

Decided to try magnacore wires WITHOUT changing the plugs. It took 3 days of driving for my hesitations to clear up and my check engine light to go out.

Nice. It is like a spanking new truck. I was trying to impress my daughter by accelerating and asking if she noticed a difference.

Of course she said she did. She's 11, so I believe her.
