I have the same situation. I have a post as well, and no replies. My ABS light has been on for a few days now, but the abs seems to be working... |

If it came on and stayed on then it could be the ABS sensors in the brake pads frozen up, or the leads broken due to ice damage. If that is the case, either learn to ignore it (my wife's Disco burns amber now) or replace the pads. The pads sell for around $70 and can be replace by one person in about one hour. Before doing that, I would make sure the ABS is working by finding some sand in a parking lot and give it the old panic stop. Lee |

when you are on the ice, if you start sliding, especially when you have your foot on the break, the pump will activate and you will feel it in the pedal, and hear it. I would not be surprised if doing that a few times, especially in very cold weather, didn't trip the sensors. http://landrover.mrbaileyshistory.net
