for the past week my ABS light has come on and off whenever it seems to feel like it and the ABS will also work when it wants to. However on my way home from school today my brakes were coming on while i accelerated and making the noise the ABS does when it is working. While it made that noise i hit the brakes and there was a lot of pressue on the brake petal. When it doesn't make that noise there is a noticable increase in my braking distnace. Does anyone know what the problem may be, I would prefer not to drive around with my brakes engaged while I accelerate. By the way I have a 95 Discovery. Thanks Chris |

sensor going bad. mine did the same thing. pull the ABS ECU in back of the glove box. it's a much safer feeling knowing the land rover ABS is disabled! |
