Well this isn't really much of an "event" per se, but I'm planning on going to Borrego somewhere on Sunday to have some fun off-roading and see if I can find any springtime desert flowers. If anybody wants to join me, you're more than welcome! That's just about all the planning I've done so far. Other than that I hope to leave relatively early (maybe 08:00). I might be leaving from Whittier (LA County) or North San Diego County. Or maybe leaving Whittier and swinging down the 5 to UTC/La Jolla then across. Who knows. You could get a chance to hang with a Discoweb "Senior Member" haha. I just noticed that I've been promoted for some reason...cool! Not that anybody really cares, but we had a great time without any of you, haha  If you're interested, I put photos up at http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4290582739 Also, for anybody who knows me, I was going up a steep hill somewhat reminiscent of the one where my truck died at the CORVA Truckhaven event a couple months ago, and my truck died. Exact same symptoms! Well needless to say I was pretty pissed and stressed, but it turned out to be a simple 20 amp fuse (satellite 2, ECU/fuel pump/etc. fuse). I replaced the fuse and off we went. That was a stressor... |
