How much wind noise from roof rack?

It is noisy and causes quite a bit of drag. I put a Thule wind screen on it, and it stopped. I also get the same mpg with it on or off, now. As others have said, putting lights across the front does cut down on the noise. It will also limit the number of parking garages in which you can park. How easy was it to mount? Also, were you able to buy it seperately or did you have to scavenge it off of a Thule rack (I don't have any of my catalogs at hand)? -Lawrence
