I have a 2000 DII and recently started hearing this high pitch squeeking noise when going over bumps. I figure out it was coming from my seat - and check to make sure it was tightened down and everything. Everything checked out fine... A little more poking around and I found out that its in the cushion of the upright piece of the seat (where your back is). If I simply use my hand and push into the back cushion (its higher, past the lumbar support) it squeeks!!! Has anyone else had this little annoying problem? What is in that part of the seat that would make it squeek? Isn't it all just cushion? THanks in advance, Will |

You can take it to the dealer if you are under warranty. They just posted a service action about this on the 28th of February. |

Willard, Run the seat all the way forward and up. Then from the back spray the seat track with lithuim grease. Run the seat forward and back a few times. It worked for me. You can get a can of spray lithium grease at about any hardware or home improvment store. Good luck...Dave |
