I have just purchased a secondhand Disco but I wanted to install a new CD player but the supplier cut the electrics of the previous tape machine.

My question is: For me to install the new player in I need to know what the coloured wire represent i.e. main, negative and speakers etc.

Now's a good time to replace the amps. This will make rewiring a whole lot easier. Instead of trying to find the amplifier leads at the dash, replace the amps and run RCA patch cables from the CD player to the new amps.

Thanks but the problem is I have not got a clue what each of the colours represent and they have just but cut so instead of going into a connector the wire are loose. I want to connect these cables to an connector so if I changed players I just need to unplug and not snip wire's.

Does this make sense?
