I got my MTR's mounted this morning using the Hunter GSP9700. Cost isn't much more than a spin balance @ $90 for 5 M&B, but man these things are as smooth as glass! (Got it up to 80 w/ not even a hint of vibes) I was skeptical of this, but am now a firm believer. www.gsp9700.com (no relationship with them) The MTR's are also considerably quieter than the stock Michelin XPCs. I'm trying to understand what the redeeming qualities of the XPCs are? They are incredibly loud, and have no lateral stability in snow and are only marginally better in rain. I run the MTRs on my Toyota and they actually do well onroad in all conditions, kick ass offroad. Just gushing over my new tires. joe |
