Easy to remove, no need to change fluids... Remove the VSS. Use a screwdriver to pry the housing out of the transfer case (what you should see is a 3/16" flat lip that surrounds the opening where the VSS coneects to the drive gear). Do not attempt to pull the speedo-drive out without removing the housing. The drive-gear is surrounded and supported by the housing, so remove that first and the drive-gear should come right out. Sorry, I don't know which gear is the correct one. Give Marty a call at British Pacific and he will likely be able to help you. |
