I recently got an ARB bumper that was made for a jeep, and I'm going to try and stick it on the front of my 95' Disco. The mounts on the bumper are about 3" wider than the frame rails, so how would you go about it? |

I'd do the same thing I'd do with wheels or engine parts or interior or exterior parts I picked up for my Disco, but were made for a jeep. I'd exchange the parts for actual parts made for a Land Rover Discovery. |

Rarified being the key word, although in context that was very funny. It came off a 2000 Wrangler which rolled in Moab, so one of the tubes is scuffed a bit, and exchanging it isn't an option. I'll get pictures as soon as I can, but for now, picture this [ [] [] ], with the close-together brackets being the frame rails and the outside brackets being the bumper mounts. I was thnking either hollow box spacers or maybe something solid to fill that 1.5" gap on either side. |
