I recently changed my battery and with that, I lost the code to my radio. Can anyone tell me how I can get a code for my disco? Without paying for it. I bought the truck off an old lady and not from the dealership.

God Speed...

But have you tried yet???????? Just call a dealership or Land Rover, how else do you expect to get it? This has been beat to death so many times it isn't funny.

Hey Erik-
Please excuse Carter for being testy. I think he's a bit under the weather. Remember he's the D-Web guy who not long ago had a whole thread designated just to him. Most likely all the the book signing's, interviews ect. have got him down a bit.

Yeah, I've been a bit testy lately but the fact still remains that there must be like 200 of these threads in the archives because it gets asked every week or so.

Carter-
Yep I agree. A search of "radio code" revealed 311 within hits within 100 days in the Discovery section alone. Of course that does include VHF, CB and not specifically that question. Myself I could'nt care less about the radio because I am always listening for things to go wrong under the hood.

The flu is spreading all over our neck of the woods wicked. But it always does during 'tween weather. I can't wait until spring when all I have to deal with is mud, mud , mud.

Take Care,

I got the code with zero problems. The last time I needed the code, they charged me $30.00!! But of course, I miss placed the code and had to get a new one and this time it was FREE.
