Well, I should have learned my lesson after the poor work done on the Disco in December; but, I went back. They finally got the part and now when they bring the truck back to me, it has a dent and a scratch. The first thing the service writer says "Was that already there?" It's bad enough that the truck had to come back because they did not fix it right the first time; but, now they damage the truck. Thank God I stayed and signed the visual inspection on the truck. I was on the phone to LR North America and they said that someone will get back to me Monday. I will NEVER go back to LR Manhattan. Sorry, just needed to vent a little. Brian | ||

That sucks My brother lives a few blocks from LR Manhattan, at 101 West end ave. or something like that, I've been up there twice and looked for a LR dealership to visit but never could find it, until my last day on the "lil black limo" thing lol, and we past it on the way to the airport. I've looked for it twice and come to find out that it was in walking distance pissed me off. I always have bad expereinces when i let someone else touch my truck. | ||

I know. I usually do my own work; but, I figured I have a warranty, why not use it. Now I have a dented truck. The really funny thing wass that they asked when I can bring it back. I laughed and said that I am not taking it with the dent. I am leaving for Daytona on Wednesday and the 03 Disco is going to do the towing if my rig is not perfect by Tuesday night. | ||

lol I wish I had a warranty, lol. Never seen one of those. Yeah towing, rock crawling, mud bogging, scuba diving. Give it hell, they deserve it for trying to screw you. | ||

LR Manhattan has been terrible. I have been there three times. I have NEVER left with all the problems fixed correctly. Now they dent it. LR North America has been a limited help. The are more polite than helpful. I am now using my dually more and more. I don't even worry about parking in NYC anymore. At least GMC fixes the truck. Heck, they wash it and bring it back with no new damage. Sorry, I am a little cranky. | ||

I'll just pee in their sink when I use the bathroom. Maybe that will make me feel better. I will be talking with LR North america on Monday. I want all new parts, no bondo is going on the truck. I will accept nothing less. | ||

like the kind that live down the road from you too rob. a couple of cases of Orange Crush soda on the porch for the kids and a few cases of Busch Light 16 oz cans for the folks. a nice double wide with a pair of new full size Dodge pickups with NASCAR and Fear This stickers end to end. |
