What replacement bumpers are there for a 99 DII that are air bag compatible?

I think both ARB and TJM have airbag compatable bumpers.

Check out http://www.expeditionexchange.com

I'm thinking about a new bumper for my 99 d2 as well, so let me know what you go with.

Thanks Mike. I looked @ the TJM on EE. The approach angles don't look as good as the SG. Who knows maybe thats necessary for airbags.
Thanks!!

i think the approach angle on the arb and the tjm are simply the results of design following function. both bumpers are designed in australia and are more of a result of truck/kangaroo collision damage control than rock crawling clearance. there have been big discussions regarding the need to use an airbag bumper or will a non-airbag bumper be just as effective in a crash while doing more for your off-road adventures. try an archive search for many, many opines regarding bumpers. frankly i am leaning toward the tjm simply because i am concerned about the liability of hitting a sports car in a lifted truck with a blade bumper. but that is just me and my off-roading is not of an extreme nature. any winch bumper with recovery points will increase my odds off-road.

good reading!

I'd like to add that the airbag ARB bumper is VERY heavy. Something else you might consider is the type of winch you plan to use. Some of these bumpers are are not compatiable with all winch's.

Just my .02, but I've looked closely at the ARB airbag bumper, and the approach truely sucks. Maybe form follows function, but you would have to be nuts to bash that thing around constantly.
