Whenever I use the left turn signal indicator when I have the brakes on, the light binks fast (as if a bulb was broken). But when I take my foot off of the brake, it returns to normal. The RH blinker doesn't do this and none of the bulbs are burned out. The vehicle is a 1995 Discovery. Any thoughts as to what is causing the problem? Anyone else have this? Thanks. Max T. |

A faster blink indicates increased current draw. That it happens when you put the brakes on suggests a short between the two. Have a helper watch the lights at the rear when you apply the brakes. One side is likely brighter than the other. start searching from there onwards |

Chris, thanks for the starting location. Does anybody know where the two interface? In the dash? Somewhere under the hood? Any other suggestions? Thanks. Max T. |

Do you have a trailer plug? This may be the cause of it if you don't have a converter installed. Check the round LR connector behind the passenger side tailight too. it may be shorting out. |
