Found this on one of the european LR mags and did a research on google - my new best friend. Just thought I'd share it here.

isn't the bottom one called Forest Rover or something?

Have you seen the monster that is now in Portland on the www.northwestparts.com springs page? Not my style, but... amazing - go look.

Yeah, I've seen that... doesn't float my boat neither but interesting nevertheless. The bottom picture was used in the forest and was also known as the "roadless 109".

I love my IIA, but about half a dozen times a year I get to drive this baby around for a weekend. Nothing has ever come close...

Jeff-

Is that a Bren Gun Carrier with Aussie markings? Nice!

Is that a reinactment club or a movie set or something?

How 'bout this?

Yep. A WWII reenactment club. It's a Canadian 1943 Bren Carrier marked up for the African campaign. Traditionally, it's marked up for ETO which is our mainstay.

Because of it's size, speed, and maneuverability, I like the Bren carrier more then the other tracked vehicles out there. I'm sure driving the Sherman or the Stug would be fun, but for zipping around, I love the carrier...

I think the second one I would drive after that would the be the Stuart. That's a little rocketship as well.
