Windsheild wiper switch

Author Message   Ed Petrush (Exp3) Member Username: Exp3 Post Number: 75 Registered: 06-2002 Posted on Sunday, March 02, 2003 - 09:15 pm:    I have a question, when I turn my wipers on now the wiper arms do not cycle all the way back to the bottom of the windshield... I am guessing this is an issue with the steering column switch? I don't know if anything was conclusive. I have a similar problem. Try manipulating the switch back/forth and you should get the wipers working. Someone indicated that the ground contact of the wiper motor needs to be cleaned. I am not sure where the motor is located on a D1. Were the wipers turn on frozen?
