I use Chevon Fuel Injector cleaner with Techron at each oil change. I haven't had any problems, but I guess thats the point. http://www.chevron.com/prodserv/nafl/auto/content/fueladd.shtm |

For those of you that use Red Line fuel cleaner, do you use it prior to an oil change? The product description page on the Red Line site makes no mention of this. Thanks, -Eugene |

I'll probably get killed for this but most all fuel system cleaners that you put in your gas tank are the same, a little extra burn, a little detergent. I do a system clean about every six, months, I drive until almost empty, like a half gallon or less, then I put in five bottles of fuel system cleaner, the cheap stuff from all-a-dollar. Then I drive it around, 10-15 miles of high rpm driving, and watch all the white smoke, then fill it back up with gas and Im good to go. and as to oil change intervals it really doesnt make a difference. |

BG 44K - available from most local parts houses. About $19.95 a can. Works great. Run a google search on BG44K and read the reviews. Many shops use this for tune-ups. Manufactureres web site http://www.bgprod.com/autofuel.html |
