Just wondering if anyone has bought seat covers from this Australian company and how you like them. I emailed the company for pricing and color availability for a 2001 DII SE but have not heard back yet.

Thanks for any feedback.

Yeah, yeah. I found the link in LRE magazine and the ad showed the fabric in different colors, including Tan. They apparently just don't have their website completed yet.

They look like they are fairly well fitted though like the original seat covers, but I don't know how they compare in price.

Carter,
Please say it ain't so! Natty Light can't possibly exist. I grew up in Baltimore an Bo was the drink of choice. A hearty and cheap choice for the finacialy challenged set. The one thing it was was a MAN'S beer. You could tell a Bo man from a mile away (hugh gut from all those calories). A Natty light would destroy all traditions associated with the Bo and that's bad:-(

What is Natty Light or Bo? Thought I had heard them all. If you want a cheap good beer, go Yuengling!

hey now. don't go calling Yuengling cheap beer. it might be somewhat inexpensive, but it ain't cheap. cheap is Bud, Coors, Pabst (RIP), Keystone, etc. oh and not to be forgotten is that god damn redneck shit they call IC Light!!! :-) Yuengling is a staple around here and it will stay that way.

Yuegling = Good Inexpensive Beer! Fueled many Rover projects.

OK then, now back to your regularly scheduled thread, SEAT COVERS! :-)

The stock leather works pretty well for my ass.

Stock leather works great for my ass too......

But it doesn't fair well to dog paws and claws. Lots of scuffs on the leather when the Wiemer gets in the truck. Not to mention the mud and snow that comes too.

Let's not forget "Naragansett". Remember the nifty little quotes on the caps? For those who are not enlightened concerning this fine product, let's just say it got the job done and left change for some beer nuts.

Rolling Rock is great, but outside the East, it is not cheap. Most places here charge "export" price for RR. I remember getting it for .25 a bottle in Port Chester in the late eighties....

Okay, this thread has got to be payback for all of my stupid, unrelated to the thread posts...........

Carter, I have seen those, but they don't appear to be fitted. I tried some from Orvis that were not fitted and the problem with them is that the LR Seats are pretty oddly built, so the off the shelf covers don't stay on very well.

FWIW the web site says they are custom fitted and they have a whole list of models. I was looking at them at one point but never got around to buying them. I can't remember what they quoted me but it seemed fair. The camo ones look good (if you can indeed get them in non camo) just thought you would like another option to price.

Greg,

Something-like... :-)

lol.....

Sorry, don't know a thing about them, you get to be the guinea pig....

I don't like THAT style of camo, but, I noticed on the Series page that they had more of the British/Rhodesian camo instead, and also reupholstered seats that weren't camo, so, I would *guess* that they have them available in non-camo colors....

FWIW...

Greg-
I am going with these in the spring, "Mucky Joe's" www.hatchbag.co.uk They will send you a fabric sample with a small descriptive brochure.

GP-
Naragansett was certainly a bit rougher the next day than #9. Lately I've been enjoying "Old Speckled Hen", I highly recommend!
