Has anyone been to the LR driving school at the Greenbrier in West Virginia. I wanted to get some off-road training with an expert, since I don't have any off-road driving experience, before doing any serious trails. And I don't want to endanger myself or damage my truck by learning what not to do on my own my first time out.

Thanks,
jason

I haven't been to the Greenbriar, but you should go to Land Rover's headquarters in Landover MD. They have a $5 million course that is awesome. It takes about 1/2 hour to go through it. I called there and told them that I was a Land Rover owner and that I would like to try the course. It was free and a blast. It's been a few years since I did this (BMW owned them). I don't know if they still allow it. I learned a ton. They require you to use their trucks.

At Landover, don't they also offer an off road clinic? I would like to take a course too to learn more about my Disco 1. I owned a F*rd Bronco II that I used to take off road all the time, but the Rover is so much better and so different.

I'm not sure. I know the rover club in that area has meets there from time to time.

Neal,

I will let you know. I am planning a snowboarding trip to Snowshoe West Virginia in the coming weeks. The GB is only 45 minutes away so I am going to drive to Snowshoe on Saturday morning, board all day and then crash for the night. Get up the next morning and drive to GB to learn on their course.

Jason, I was in Snowshoe 1st weekend in January. They got a ton of snow. The rover came in handy. When you goto GB make sure you tour the bunker.
