Where can I get this part?? "Disco Dad" was the one that found the part, but the man doesn't have an email address. Heck, for $8, where can you go wrong...

If you're talking about the four clips that holds the sun shade in place, they're pretty cheap at the dealer. I think the last time I bought some, they were around $4/each! Buy extras!

No, I'm talking the clip on the shade itself. Unless I saw something different.

As far as I know, you cannot buy it separately. Rover Connection has a "sunshade clip," but it's the fixed part that mounts to the sunroof frame, not the part that breaks off the shade. People have glued or screwed homemade clips as a repair. Mine (two of them) are bent loops of heavy-duty paper clip screwed to a hole tapped into the remaining plastic part of the clip on the shade.

Unfortunately, John is correct. You have to buy the whole assembly, which is $$$$$$. The best advice is just to glue it, etc...

FWIW, I found a set of used sunshades on eBAY and paid around 35-40 including shipping. Replaced the sunshades in about an hour or less. I had asked the dealer when I first got it how much and that made up my mind really quick about the dealer. I can't remember the number since it's been over a year ago but it was something like 400-500 + parts!! Look for a used set.. Later.. RS

FYI, I went by the dealer and they pulled one off a shade they were returning under warranty. It's the only thing I ever got for free, but it may be worth a shot.

I went to home depot. They have several diffrent picture hangers that have almost the same shape. They are made out of metal though. I drilled a small pilot hole than attached the hanger clip with a screw. It is hard to tell when the shade is closed you really have to look. The clip cost me 50 cents it silver and the same width as the black pice of plastic on the shade. If you cant find one ill send you one or try to get a pic at least.

Another souce for homemade clips will also be at Home Depot of equivalent is in the screen door parts section. You will find seveveral styles of retainers with small hooks on the end that work fine.
