Has anyone had any experiences with a misfire service engine code. I have had a # 8 cylinder misfire code on my '99 D2 for the past month. I took it to the dealer while it was still under warranty- they said it was a faulty plug wire and changed it. Since then, my service engine light has come on twice and when I check the codes, it again says #8 misfire. Obviously the spark plug wire was not the culprit. Joey |

I would assume so? Anyways, they're getting it back to work on next week, and I'm not about to pay for it! |

Make sure they fix the issue before the warranty is up. If its a stuck exhause valve it could cost atleast 1800.00 to correct. |

The warranty is up now. Like I said before, this problem existed before the warranty was up and was not fixed correctly under warranty. Therefore, it should and will be covered. Does anyone know what sensor would be sending this code? Joey |
