Ok, don't kill me. I'm simply curious if anyone is using these axles. I'm still on my original 10 splines (with ARBs for the last four years) running 32" tires. So, obviously I tend to baby my drivetrain! I don't feel like upgrading my ARBs to 24 splines for $300 or buy a new locker for $650 and buy a new set of axles for $400 if I can simply use the hardened 10 splines from GBR. Flame suit on. |

I thought that the heavy duty 10 spline axles from GBR are only for the Series II and III, correct me if I am wrong, I too would be interested in heavy duty 10 spline axles if avaliable for my 92 RRC, I also don't want to change out my diffs, my flame suit is on too. |

I just reread GBR's site and I think you're right. Damn, thought I had something there. Oh well, at the very least, I'll just hold on to my 10 splines and keep spares. As they break, I'll just replace them until I run out of spares! |

Send me a couple of spares too! How about cryogenic treatment of the axles, anybody tried it? Here is a site I found that charges $50 per axle. http://www.ffwdconnection.com/index2.htm

Try this site www.300below.com I spoke with them and they charge $2.50lb to cryo-treat what ever you want. Turn around time is 5-7 days. Adrian 91RRC |

Rob, Yeah, I still have them. I keep thinking I need them as spares but I should just get over that. What I really need is to stop hording LR parts! If anyone needs a complete ARB equipped, 3.54, 10 spline- 3rd member for $400/each let me know. |

Jaime, sorry for the delay. Keep forgetting to check this site. $400/ third member. Each third member is complete with R&P and ARB locker. So if you want front & rear, that'd be $800 plus shipping. I'll use 5 gal pails to ship each 3rd member. I also have an ARB air compressor plus the switch harness. I'm asking $75 for it and will only be sold with one or both of the 3rd member. |
