Called the LR dealer, said to check the fuses...fuses look OK. Both RH and LH side lights out (checked both fuses, and lights fuse underhood). Anything else I should be looking at? (99 Disco SD) |

The fuse panel is not accurately labeled -- it is opposite apparently. Check your light in the glove box. I would bet that the light is loose in there which causes the circuitry to short. Fix this light, then replace the fuse -- check all of them and you should be OK |

Replaced fog light bulb. All fuses OK. Opened the glove box, light is on, now all lights are on. Also replaced R driving/parking light in headlight assembly. I'm happy they are working, but I know I am on borrowed time. Thanks. |

I thought I had this solved. Can the Glove Box light be the culprit. I have that by opening the glove box, then simulataneously, whack the dashboard and click the switch a few times, I get the lights...I saw something similar in another thread...this is worse than christmas tree lights! |

Nick, That is what I suspected (3 postings earlier) in this thread. The mounting bracket for the glove blox light and/or bulb is grounding out. Try reseating the bulb and the bracket -- good luck. |

I checked to see if it was working, and it just so happens that it worked at that time. My son could hear a clicking noise in that area as I turned the switch. I will try again. |

You really think the glove box could solve the problem? I have the same thing. dashlights are out, one of the fog lights are out, tail lights are out and two of my back windows don't work and too boot, the glove box light is out. |

The saga continues...I reseated the glove box light and noted that one of the bumper tail lights was out. Got that working again, now the parking lights work, that is until I turn on the headlights and they go out again. It seems like they need to warm up then pop on eventually. I have come to think the rear fog lamps are there for another reason! |

I had a ground wire (in the fuse box) that was bad on my '95. That solved the same problem! |

I understand there are several ground wires from other messages. Can you tell me where they are ( and are they white or black)? |

I too have the same problem. Tried the glove box and nothing changed. Thank God for the rear fog lights. Without them I couldnt drive at night. How about those ground wires? I sure would like to know how fast I'm driving at night again. Thanks, Dan |

Used all the advice I could find...LR Dealer thinks it is the switch...of course I just did most of the work! |
