I have checked the pump and it works fine. It seems to be the switch in the wiper control on the steering column. All of the rest of the wiper controls work fine. Has anyone taken one of these things apart to fix it? Or is it easier to buy a new one? How difficult are they to install? Thanks for your help! |

Are you sure it's not frozen over? Ice can block the nozzles & prevent the fluid from coming out. Sometimes its the simplest things. |

Yeah, check the easy stuff first. Without the engine running and with the windows down, pull on the stalk as if to squirt the windows. If you hear the motor run, your switch is ok and you're probably looking at blocked tubes. Along that line, there are a few one way check valves that are prone to going bad along the tubing. I've heard that you can rig something similar from an Aquarium store, but they're ~$6 from the dealer. HTH, good luck, Kit |

Thanks...I had checked that stuff, but unfortunately to no avail. The pump works fine if you bypass the switch in the steering column, which leads me to believe it is the switch itself. I have no idea how to take it apart to check though. |
