Alpine M# CHM-S620, aftermarket changer for the Discovery II. The unit has stopped playing cd’s. If I take the magazine out I get a “No magazine” message, or something like it at the head unit. When I insert the mag the changer starts looking for a CD, and you can see it scrolling through the mag on the head, but it won’t find a CD and come to rest at CD00-00 on the head, no error message. Is the changer shot, or should I try to have it serviced? Given the cost of a new one it’s not worth spending much money on, although the changer is less than two years old. Thanks! | ||

You may just have some schmootz on your cd's give them a cleaning and retry. |
