I picked up some universal Accel Ignition wires today from the autoparts place, in an attempt to determine what is wrong with my Disco. I suspect it to be crossfiring, and I am going to replace the plugs and wires, and see if I notice any improvement. The 8mm Accel wires I have have a notice saying that late model vehicles require magnetic suppression spiral core wires. Now I have a 95 Disco, and I am wondering if this would apply to my vehicle, with distributer ignition, or is more pertinent to the 96 and later Disco's with the distributerless GEMS system. Thanks, Jon |
