I'm almost done makeing a pair of slider for my 99 dII. They seem a bit heavy! I haven't weighed them yet but I'm cocerned for the future when I add a whinch and bumper to the front, a rear bumper and undercarriage protection. How heavy are the name brand sliders on average, and how heavy is to heavy? My very next mod will be a 2" ome hd lift. will it carry the weight of all this? By the way, these things have turned out sweet. They are going to be tuff as hell and they look good. All I have left to do is sand blast them and have them RINO LINED. Does anyone think there would be a market for a few pairs of these if the weight is right and of course the price is right. I was thinking of selling a few pairs for about $300 to help fund my other mods. Thanks, Steve.

The rino liner will collect dirt like crazy. Take pictures before you try them out because they'll never be that clean again!

Thanks,
Mike B.

Blake, they are for a D2, so unless he makes a D1 version, they wont fit your truck anyway.
Also, any sill mounted (RTE, SG, etc.) type rock slider will work on your truck..
