Are you sure you don't just have some water in distributor? Spray some WD40 or Quick Dry Electronic Cleaner in cap and dist and try starting. Or let sit until dry.

I carry a can of CRC QD Elect. Cleaner and tube of dielectric grease for water crossing probs.

Checked distributor, it'll start now, however, wont run for long... I'll let it dry out but will be lookin for a TDI... I guess I might have to take it in!...($$$$$$$$$$)

When you look in distributor is there fogging or signs of water under clear plastic shield under rotor? If yours isn't clear plastic I'd carefully pull rotor and remove shield and look for signs of water. I'd be tempted to remove distributor anyway from vehicle and dry it out.

Also, if you dunked it pretty bad I'd drain diffs and swivel balls and refill too. Do you run extensions on your axle breathers?

If you're at all concerned with cost$ then I wouldn't consider a diesel transplant. If you did it yourself it would still require a lot of fab work and $$.

Took it to the $dealer$. I told them to drain and re-lube everything. the distributor was removed and dryed... running better now however theres still a slight stall problem, im going to raise idol rpms a little and that should take care of it... i also replaced valve seals to get-rid of an oil leak problem. thanx for the advice! I guess im going to take it easy on the truck for a while.... hehehe
