Hello all...

As many of you know, I am in the AF Reserves. I got the dreaded call to leave my family, friends, and way of life on Friday. I am now at Charleston AFB, supporting the war effort. Hopefully I will only be used as backfill for the active duty guys that are deployed, but there is always the chance that they will need me over there.
Let's all hope Bush knows what he is doing, and that this whole thing doesn't last too long!

Thanks for all of the kind words to our troops in the past on this board. Keep them coming. They mean alot!

Hey Greg,

There are a lot of former Marines here that are being re-activated. This one guy I talked to had been out for a year and got the call to report today.

Good Luck, be safe, and thanks for keeping the gas flowing. :-)

Good luck to you Greg. Be safe, and I want you to know, that as a former military guy myself, I REALLY appreciate your efforts.

Be safe in your journeys, I appreciate your efforts as well. It means alot to me to be able to continue this life that I have grown so accustomed to. All these people that "hate" Bush and his politics, can just go on over to Iraq and hang out over there. You don't like America or the way things are handled, then get the hell out of our country. Take care in your travels Greg, sorry for the venting.. Later.. Robert S

It our soldiers in the military that will, if needed, pay the ultimate price so that the rest of us can continue to have the right to agree or disagree with Bush. Let's not forget that...

Hopefully they will keep you stateside, but if they don't, be careful over there. Can you paint "To Saddam, Best wishes from DisoWeb" on one of the bombs going to the Gulf?

Take care of yourself!

You're a teacher, right? What did your students say when you told them they'd have a sub for the rest of the year?
