Power steering unit covered in Fluid. 99 Series I Disco. Very little fluid being lost. Is this something else to just live with? Any quick fixes? Prices on a new unit?

There are two pipes coming out of the top of the steering box, anchored down by a plate with a (10 mm) bolt in the middle, between the pipes. Make sure this is tight - its threadlocked at the factory though. Also I suppose check there is no bending strain on those two pipes.

Dean is talking about a D2, the D1 lines thread into the box. Check the hoses for leaks first. My advise would be the go to a hydraulic shop and have them add new rubber hose onto the metal ends. The LR hoses are the worst grade of rubber known to man and leak constantly
Another trouble area is the steering box. The common leak on those is at the input shaft seal.
You may be able to live with it for now but it will get worse whatever the leak is
