I bought a used 1999 Discovery II with all the options...including jump seats in the back. It did not come with a manual so I'm trying to figure out how those seats fold up and cannot seem to make it happen. Can someone tell me or even better share photos or a scanned page from the manual? |

No pictures, but .... if they're front facing: 1) pull green tab/lever on inside side of seat to get the seat back to fold down onto the seat bottom; 2) grip the inside side of the black/grey handle and twist it -- this releases the mechanism locking the bottom seat to the floor board; 3) while twisting the handle, lift the seat towards the outside of the truck (the outboard side of the seat goes up, the inside side of the seat goes down. The seat fits with the bottom of the bottom seat against the side of the truck. Seems counter intuitive, but you get used to it. Inside side means the side of the seat towards the middle of the car. Good luck. |
