He drove out to the beach, right to the edge of the surf zone, disengaged 4WD, and dug his rear wheels into sand, so that we wouldn't have to lift a 300-lb slug too high. There was a sleazy reporter bouncing around; he was laughing his ass off and yelling "you guys are fucked!!!"
