Please excuse my random rant and plea for sympathy.
With the economy the way it is and gas prices the way they are selling my 1999 Series 1 has certainly proven to be a challenge. Anyone else having the same frustrations?

Been trying to sell my Disco for about 5 months now. It won't sell so I bought a 109 to try and stimulate the economy. Gee, sure will suck if I can't sell the Disco. Guess i'll just have to keep wheeling and having tons of fun.

I agree mine too, and I'm not trying to rip anyone off.

What are you selling Britt? I thought you lived in Washington, but I see you are in Gresham? I lived in Troutdale, now live in NE Portland. I saw a white Disco with rack and ladder on 122nd today, was that you?

Yeah I moved back to Oregon at the start of the year. I'm Selling my Disco and have a search out for a Defender.
Sorry R.B. That was some one else unless mine is missing out of the drive; I better go check.

Looks like that makes two Discos for sale in the NW. Mine is just North of Seattle (Snohomish).

Todd, Your price is too high. Put $10K on the window and I'll buy it :-)

Dean - The only thing I'm trying to support is the family. Need to drop the car payment with #2 due a few weeks away.

Jason - Too high? IMO I don't think so. $10K

Damn a 110 would be nice. Can a family of four live in one? Hmmmmm...

yeah...

if the ocean rises 10 meters, it'll make my drive to the beach 200 meters shorter... to about a mile and a half :-)

West coast, not much difference, but southeastern coast, it'll cut an hour off the drive....

Hey Guys,
I think the market is slow here in NC too.

For 1 year, I've driven by a sweet 1999 Disco I on my way home in my clunker Jeep Cherokee. Dealer wanted $18K. I test drove it, nice. Last month I went on Ebay and bought a identical 1999 Disco I for $12K.

I still drive by that LR...

Hell, if the oceans rise 10 meters, there won't be much reason for me to come to work since my office is only sitting at about 50 feet above sea level. Of course I guess that would put us beach side. Good thing my house is at 450 feet.

yeah i've been trying to sell my Discovery for the past couple of weeks now. I have had lots of enquirers, but nobody was serious. It's in the for sale section if anybody is interested.

A friend of mine (who I also bought my D1 from) has been trying to sell a 95 Disco ES, a 97 RR LSE, and a 98 RR SE for almost six months now, with no takers. The funny thing is, when I bought mine, he couldn't keep the Land Rovers on the lot but know the market has pretty much all dried up.
