I have a 1994 Discovery w/ 86,000 miles. Check engine light came on, and see it is code 44 (O2 sensor, left bank). Are there any hints as to how to change the sensor? I am fairly mechanically inclined, but want to make sure changing the sensor can be done fairly easily. Any tips/advice? Thank you!

Before you buy, check out www.oxysensensors.com I bought 2 for my 96 - 90 bucks each with free shipping. Just hope they're not frozen in. |

Replace them both, unless they are fairly new. |

Thank you gentlemen! Much appreciated. One other quick question. The Disco has a hard start when cold (cranks for about 7 seconds, then it turns over), and when engine is hot, she starts right away, but quickly stalls. Is it possible the new oxygen sensor would remedy this problem? Thanks again!! |
