i just picked up a 93 lwb & am new to this rangie thing (have had a disco 1 and currently have a trailer queen 90 for trail running). the EAS works fine, but i'm probably going to go ahead and buy some springs just to have them for, what is probably, the unavoidable job of swapping out the air bags. for those of you that have done the conversion, what springs are you running and whats your use (ie-wheeling, tow, grocery getter)? ideally, i'd like to keep it pretty close to stock ride height (read: no more than 1" lift). the air springs on my sweety's 95LWB with about 100K finally decided to die about 6 months ago. I ended up putting rear stock DiscoI springs in the front (because they were in my garage) and then put OME781's in the rear. Gave it about 1.5" lift and looks/rides so much better now. After the lift, I put on some 245/75's (because they were also in my garage). This vehicle is a daily driver for a female that wears skirts/dresses a lot and it doesn't cause her any major problems. |

hd OEMs frt and rear. fox shocks. about a 3" lift that goes to around 1.5" with the rack and RR loaded. a little harsh without a load, yet, when filled it does what its supposed to. all depends upon what you want with the RR. for us - more of a work horse that goes almost anywhere carrying the kitchen sink.
