The power seat controls are inop on the passenger side seat and we need to remove it to repair some rust. How? |

Give me a little more description of what your plans are. Are you sure it is not just the switch, or a relay, either you would not have to remove. If it is motor then I am pretty sure yes, but we can go from there. |

thee rust has ggone back to the rigght front support so i want to get this seat out of the way plus i need to see where the corrosion stops. i don't know what to do about replacing the floor board. any idea on this. |

That's a pandora's box of electronics. I will take a look and give you good directions, just be very careful on removal. If it is full of holes, you have two options, weld in a new piece, or do what I did. I put POR-15 over all areas after sanding it all down, then I repaired holes with fiberglass from Autozone. It is a trail rig and a daily driver. I haven't had a leak since. Let me know and I will tell you how I removed mine, it's just a job that keeps getting bigger. Also plan on breaking the bolts on removal of seat frame, hopefully not broke off in frame, I had that problem, on all the bolts in the back seat, including the seatbelts, real pain in the ass. |
