Hello all! I have almost competed my US 7 pin socket installation and have come across a conundrum. There are two wires from the LR trailer socket for running lights I thought this could not be right so I called my LR dealer and they told me all European cars have separate running light feeds for both sides. So the dealer told me to use just the brown feed (RH side feed) and increase the fuse from 10 amp to 15 amp. Now in my mind it would be better to splice the Black (LH side feed) to the brown so they share the current equally and to equalise the load and that way I would not have to increase the fuse... What do you guys think?
