Yesterday replace an OME HD setup with 3" rovertym springs. Rear used 6k miles and front never used. The OME had been one for about 5 years. This is on a '95 Disco1.

Measurements of OME setup loaded with about 500 lbs of gear.
DS- Rear: 20"
PS- Rear: 19"
DS- Front: 19 3/4"
PS- Front: 18 3/4"

Measurements of Rovertym setup, same gear loaded.
DS- Rear: 20 7/8"
PS- Rear: 19"
DS- Front: 2 3/8"
PS- Front: 20 3/4"

Note the pesky list to passenger side is lessened with the Rovertym. What is up with that?

The rovertym seem to be a softer ride and I believe that when unloaded, the springs will yeild even more lift.

two
three
four

I have the ome hd setup and have been toying with changing to the rovertym 3" myself. Was it worth it, did you change shocks? Have you seen the difference off road?

Blake,

Been away from the net for a bit. I have not changed shocks yet, but likely will. Something longer that the basic OME nitros.

I get slightly more body roll, but have not really determined if this is the result of more lift or softer springs, but believe that they are softer, especially when loaded.

I have not had it off-road yet.

Brian
