I have a 95Disc which has a gurgling noise coming from heater core when temp set in cold position. Disappears in warm position so I am assuming that there is no blockage. Anybody have any idea as to why this is happening? |

My '96 did the same thing. I had the whole cooling system power flushed at a local shop ($25) and filled up. Cured the problem but I'm not sure if it was a blockage or low fluid level that caused the sound. Regarding your other thread, the shop manual called for regular antifreeze (I used Prestone) at the concentration for your geographic area. (gets -35F here sometimes) Cheers, Shawn |

I've heard that noise for a couple years. my fluid level is fine so I guess i have some air in there. For me, it happens in the morning with the heater set at hot. |

This is a common problem if your radiator is low on fluid. check your fluid level first. If your coolant is low it will make that noise, and your heater will go from hot to cold intermitantly(on its own). |

Just did the water pump on mine and had that sound for a few days after. I kept adding each day and it was gone...now water level is constant. |
