I am looking for a good tech manual, The FAQ section of the bulletin board suggest a bentley manual. Does anyone know where I can get one and how much they cost? Or is there another manual someone would suggest? |

The Factory shop manual is worth having though it costs quite a bit. With it you also need another manual to address electrical problems. The Haynes manual, is also readily availible form sources like Rovers North, British Pacific, and quite a few other sources in the "recources/vendors..." section of this board. I use both because usually what one lacks the other supplies. -Reed |

Spell checker is broken or I'm typing too fast. I meant "resources", and the correct version of any other word that has irregular spelling. -Reed |

Reed, I'll give you the point on the second electrical manual. I got my shop manual from a shop out of Oz, was considerably cheaper (about $50 cheaper) than I could find from a stateside source. |

I really like the factory workshop manuals and the prices from 4x4 Connection in VA are very good for genuine manuals - about $75 Bill |

Kevin- There is also another discussion on this board that is active right now, and has several links to various manual sources. Bill- I'll check them out. I am still looking for a factory electrical manual. -Reed |

If you need factory manuals, drop me a private e-mail at [email protected] The manuals I have are in CD form and include all the electrical manuals.

I too have the CD version and I hardly ever use my hardcopy manual anymore, other than on the trail. I love the CD version since I can search very quickly and find what I need, very handy with electrical troubleshooting. |

If anybody can tell me how to place the contents of the CD on my website to make it usable, I'll be happy to make its contents available to everybody. |

Chris iso is a format of a disk image that you create with your software for CD burninh. if you do not have a recordable cd rom, you will not be able to make one. You can however use peer to peer software like kazza. Copy the contents of the cd in a new folder, then compress the folder with winzip or similare program. place the zipped file in you kazza shared files folder. leave your computer connected to the internet and let us know. then we can search kazza for the name of the file and download it. Make sure you set kazza to share files. good luck |

I think Kazza would be the eastiest to do unless you knowsomeone or have a web site you can upload your file to and allow downloads. First download Kazza. here is a link.http://download.com.com/3101-2001-0-1.html?tag=dir After you install Kazza, the program creates a folder that you can download files and place files into so you they can be shared with other users. Kazz should create a short cut on the desktop for ease of access. If no short cut you will need to find that fold on your computer. You can either copy cd manual into a new folder. Then open the folder and compress all the files in to one with winzip. place this compressed file in the kazza shared folder for people to use. you will need to give us the name of the file so we can search kazza for it. If you want to make an ISO or disk image, I Need to know what program you use for cd burning to be able to help you out on that. Or read the help files that come wit the software. Also many megs is stored on the cd manual
