I wish I had a scanner! On page 56 of the current edition of ROLLING STONE (50 Cent on Cover), there is a photo of a Liberty transversing a rut and the angle shows the front underside of the Truck. The caption reads, "To a gearhead, this is a centerfold". I'm thinking, "Look Ma, crappy independent front suspension'!

Check it out...

Hey John-
Not sure if you are into his music but did you know Brian Adams is a big D-90 fan? I always thought that was cool. With the money they have there must be other rockers out there with "real" 4x4's! It's warming up!

S, I have heard Jimmy Buffet is also a Rover fan. Once while at a LR Dealer in Atlanta, I saw a British Racing Green D110 that had been made over with a Range Rover interior, they say it once belonged to Buffet. It had a $40K price tag! Wooosh... Hey, 60 degrees here in Albany today! Snow is melting!

Somebody needs to scan that Ad, it's ridiculous if you know anything about four wheel drive.

Hey John, have you noticed that we now have Rikki Rocket from the 80's supergroup Poison onboard here on DWEB? Man, I used to jam to some Poison (still do from time to time)

Snow,

My Uncle has the Brian Adams CD with him and his 90 on there...When I first saw it, I got pretty excited; my Uncle thought I was crazy :-)

Robert,

I saw his gallery. It looks like he has a nice set up...He has his Hummer for sale on his site.

I think Adams was also at the factory when the first new RR was unveiled. Land Rover Owner International magazine in September of 2000 had an article on celebritys and their Rovers. Seems Robin Williams has a D-110 and Jim Carey and Kevin Costner have 88" SIII's. It also lists RR owners but the list is really long. Oddly they did'nt mention me? Must have been out that day.

Buffett - two "t's". The spelling with one "t" is the all-you-can-eat Morrison's cafeteria type dining.

Sorry, I've been a Parrot Head since before Parrot Heads were invented, back in the days of albums, when Buffett was filed under the "B's".

Buffett has owned Range Rovers in the past, according to some of his own PR material. I understand that Coca Cola in Atlanta purchased his Citation a couple of years ago.

Range Rovers, jets, sea planes, boats, the man leads a tough life:-)
